Additional Information

Swindon Community Equipment Service supplies complex & simple aids to daily living to the residents of Swindon on behalf of the Swindon NHS and other local authorities.

We deliver and install a huge range of equipment and complete minor adaptations, requisitioned by therapists and nurses. These items can aid hospital discharge, prevent hospital admission, support end of life choice, assist care professionals in their work, aid rehabilitation & recovery, and allow children to attend schools, all helping to promote & support independent living.

Equipment can range from a simple perching stool or grab rail to a full hospital bed, dynamic mattress and mobile hoist. By recycling some 70 - 80% of items through our decontamination system, we are able to maximise the value of equipment.

We provide:
- Professional advice
- 1st class service
- We aim to complete all delivery, installation and minor adaption requests within seven working days from assessment date
- Our key performance indicators show we achieve this more than 95% of the time.

Our driver/technicians and OT technicians visit service users in their own homes, in residential homes and in schools throughout Swindon. We also offer an ‘On-Call’ service over Bank Holidays.
