About Richard Haynes
Richard Haynes has vast knowledge and experience in health and social care in the UK, working across all sectors, in various senior management and consultancy roles. Richard founded a not-for-profit company, ‘The Community Gateway CIC’, amongst other similar ventures.
Richard has worked extensively within the public sector, both at local government level and with organisations like the Department of Health and Department of Work and Pensions in the UK. He is a certified Prince2 Practitioner and is trained in other OGC tools.
As well as having wide-ranging knowledge of telecare, telehealth, digital health and a variety of other assistive technology services, Richard also develops and grows new businesses and social enterprises. He also lectures on assistive technology related matters. Recognised for his outstanding and dedicated work, Richard has received two national awards (UK) with the Municipal Journal and Local Government Association.
